The core function of the cable tray system is to support insulated cables for power distribution and communication. It is widely used in cable management in commercial and industrial buildings, and is suitable for workshops, buildings, and other scenarios. This system has significant advantages in scenarios where wiring needs to be changed, as new cables can be directly laid in the cable trays for installation, eliminating the need to pull cables like with conduit wiring, greatly improving wiring flexibility.
It provides all-around protection for cables, but cutting the cable trays or using special accessories is required when inserting or removing cables. In terms of materials, the system mainly uses galvanized steel, stainless steel or powder-coated steel, and the specific selection needs to match the usage environment; galvanized cable trays can be made by processing pre-galvanized steel sheets or hot-dip galvanizing finished products. After on-site cutting, zinc-rich compounds are usually applied to the cut surfaces to effectively prevent metal corrosion.
