This versatile equipment is suitable for producing standard C-purlins with widths ranging from 80mm to 300mm and Z-purlins from 100mm to 300mm, accommodating raw material thicknesses between 1.0mm and 3.0mm. It is equipped with three punching units: two dedicated to bottom punching and one for side punching operations.

Purlins are categorized by their cross-sectional profiles: channel-shaped purlins with or without reinforcing ribs are defined as C-purlins; those without ribs are also referred to as U-purlins. Meanwhile, purlins with a point-symmetric Z-like profile are known as Z-purlins.

The C&Z purlin roll forming machine integrates a 5-ton manual decoiler, a forming system with optional punching units, a post-cutting device, a discharge table, and a PLC control system.

Switching between C-shaped and Z-shaped profiles is effortlessly achieved by rotating the handwheel 180 degrees to adjust the relative positions of the upper and lower roller sets. For changing purlin dimensions, the bottom pressure control system enables quick adjustment of the entire production line’s rollers, ensuring efficient and time-saving operation.

Our purlin roll forming machines can process various materials, including pre-painted steel, galvanized steel, and hot-rolled black steel. All produced purlins meet the minimum yield strength requirement of 55 KSI.
Each production line can be configured with coil feeding equipment (including decoilers) and a variety of high-precision punching systems for accurate hole positioning on purlin webs and flanges. For enhanced operational convenience, we can also integrate an automatic roller gap adjustment function, which eliminates the need for manual top shaft adjustments when switching between different material thicknesses.
